We recently bought Twiggy an inflatable pool and decided to give it a test run last weekend. It wasn’t exactly warm that day but like most kids I know (i.e. me), they don’t care. It’s a pool! It’s full of water! Anything beyond that, like sunlight or heat, is simply a bonus. A nice to have, if you will.

Earlier this month I was invited by Arjelia of Arjelia Photography to be a second shooter at a music recital. The recital was put on by Joe Ferrante Music Academy (JFMA) in Monrovia to give students the opportunity to perform in front of friends and family and it was also a time to recognize their individual growth.

It’s 11pm on Mother’s Day. I doubt I can type fast enough to get this done today. Goals are good I suppose. Can you say P-R-O-C-R-A-S-T-I-N-A-T-O-R?

Do you remember Windows NT? Some of you probably not, the rest of you are now mad at me for reminding you of the inflexible OS that didn’t support USB (even when that “toy” called Linux did). The reason I mention it is because I got to know Dan Becker because of his answer to an NT question in an interview. He was the only one we interviewed that got it right. Click to continue →

This year has been crazy so far. The day job’s been super busy, we bought a house, moved, taxes, had/still have some pet health issues, etc. You know, life.
As far as my photography business goes, I’ve been working a lot on administrative things. The things that do not include taking pictures. I have also had more photographic work this year than I did last year at the same time. I’m feeling good about the business, but it’s a lot of work. And not all of it is the kind of work that makes me want to get out of bed. Lots of busy busy busy work.
